Monek's PCI:DSS

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a global security benchmark for entities involved in storing, processing, or transmitting cardholder data and sensitive authentication data. PCI DSS establishes a fundamental level of protection for consumers and plays a pivotal role in mitigating fraud and data breaches throughout the payment ecosystem. It applies to any organization that handles payment card transactions.

Compliance Status​

Monek, as a provider of payment services, maintains full compliance as a Level 1 entity under PCI DSS.

Annual Assessment​

Monek undergoes an annual assessment to ensure adherence to PCI DSS requirements. Our current certification status is as follows:

  • Certification Validity: 1 year
  • Certification Approval Date: December 14, 2023
  • PCI:DSS Certificate

3-D Secure (PCI 3DS)​

In addition to complying with PCI DSS, Monek operates as a 3-D Secure (PDS2) provider and undergoes assessments for this standard as well.

3-D Secure (PCI 3DS) is the global security standard for all entities involved in storing, processing, or transmitting cardholder data and/or sensitive authentication data. Similar to PCI DSS, PCI 3DS establishes a fundamental level of protection for consumers and aids in mitigating fraud and data breaches across the entire payment ecosystem. It is applicable to any organization that accepts or processes payment cards.

Our current certification status for PCI 3DS is as follows:

  • Certification Approval Date: July 3rd, 2024
  • PCI:DSS Certificate
