MDS Onboarding New Feature Release 03.25.01

Here’s what’s new in the latest upcoming MDS release.

Settlement Type & Time​

New questions have been added to capture whether a merchant settles as Net or Gross and their settlement delay (T+1, T+2, etc.).

A new "Pay-By-Link" sales channel has been introduced. This will help separate as to whether e merchant requires Pay-By-Link if they require and eCommerce account

Companies House data changes​

Data returned via the Companies House API for Limited Companies will no longer be editable.The fields containg pre-populated data will be locked. If any details (e.g., Director name, DOB, Role, etc.) are incorrect, the merchant must update them directly with Companies House as they are the source of truth.

Removal of Buying Role​

This question has been removed from the Your Details screen.

Social Media presence​

A new question has been added to the Application screen which captures whether the business has a social media presence. A few options are provided, but if the user selects Other from the list, a mandatory question asking what platforms are used is displayed.
